copd will kill you over smoking

i was told 9 years ago i had copd i didnt no what it was just handed twn inhalers now 9 years down the rd ive been in hospital 10 in 4 mts once me hart stopped and lucky im 5 mins from the hoslital only for that i be dead now so please stop if your still young
